What's in a name?
It's no secret that spellings of last names change over time. The McRobies are no exception. So far in my research I've come across the following variations: McRobie, McRobbie, McCrobie, McRobey, McRoby, McCrobey, McCroby, McCrabie, McCrabbie. While you're researching, don't dismiss someone just because the name is spelled differently than yours. Chances are we're all related.
